Well, I chose to complete my CST 2 course in the state of Florida in January. How cool is that when it was -50 with the windchill in Swift Current, Sask and it was sunny and hot in Florida. Florida- West Palm Beach area is absolutely beautiful. The greenery is so well groomed--and I don't know when it gets done as I did not see anyone out doing any of it. Must have been just before I arrived.
Anyway, the course was equally as good. Our instructor was amazing. I enjoyed learning more of how to help people's bodies heal and release the problem areas (called energy cysts). The mouth work was very interesting. Since returning home I have given my husband a treatment--and now he doesn't snore.

I also use the craniosacral therapy on horses. They just love it. I helped a horse's body get it's chewing action back again. I do combine the CST with laser therapy when needed. And myofacial release when needed.

Genetics and epigenetics

I heard a talk from a molecular biologist yesterday. It was very interesting. He spoke about genetics and epigenetics. We are all born with a set of DNA and genes. That doesn't change. What does change is the expression of the genes. Gene expression is in constant flux depending upon our environment, our nutrition, our thoughts, our exercise. That is fascinating. What we eat in our first 9 months of life determines much also. What our mother ate, how she exercised, how healthy she was when she was pregnant with us affects our gene expression in our life. Marks made on the DNA can be passed down.

So, because gene expression can be affected by nutrition, if we know what genes do a specific function, we can test foods that affect those genes. And that is what Life Gen Technologies and Nuskin/Pharmanex have done and are in the process of doing. The 52 youth gene clusters that affect the mitochondria of the heart, brain and muscle have been identified. The correct products to target these genes have been found, also. They come in the Ageloc Vitality. The three products are Cordyseps sinensis CS4, pomegranate, and RBI Ginseng.

Deworming your pets

If your pet goes outside he/she should be dewormed 2-3 times per year. Cats and dogs that eat mice, gophers, birds will no doubt have tapeworms. Most kittens and puppies are born with roundworms. So the deworming process starts early in life. If you have a breeding female, she should be dewormed before she gets pregnant. If her deworming is not up to date, you need to deworm her babies when they are 8-12 weeks old.
There are many dewormers on the market. Check with your veterinarian which one is best for your situation.

Roundworms look like they sound, round.
Tapeworms can sometimes be seen under the tail of your animal. The tapeworm segments may remind you of white rice.

Can horses have sore TMJ's?

The answer is YES. And it stems from problems with their teeth. When their molars are not in contact, they will bite down harder to try to chew and that stresses the TMJ. Over time the joint becomes sore and then the horse doesn't want to chew as well and you get more problems even with digestion.
Have a knowledgeable dentist or veterinarian check your horse's teeth at least once a year.

Want to share a story I heard from a lady named Peggy. Peggy lives in California, her mom is in the east. Her mom is in her 90's and is in a care home. Peggy's mom has an advanced case of Alzheimers. My friend's MRI of her brain

Spoke with my friend tonight. She had her MRI results today. She has a brain tumor that the doctors are monitoring. She had terrible headaches this spring. She began to take ageLoc Vitality and in 5 days no more headaches.
The doctor showed her the results and was impressed with what he saw of the brain. It is so "clean" now. The tumor is still there, but he said how much better the brain looked.

Ear mites in dogs and cats

Ear mites in cats--symptoms include scratching at ears, shaking head. Ear mites will go from one cat to another if cats are in close contact. If you look inside your cat's ears, you will see black crusts. That is the dried blood.
Ear mites are treatable.

Parvovirus in dogs

Parvovirus in dogs is a serious virus that can cause death to your dog--usually a puppy. The younger the pup, the higher the mortality rate. This virus does damage to the small intestines.
Symptoms that are common is sudden lethargy. Your puppy is not interested in playing at all. The other symptoms that are common are vomiting and/or diarrhea. The diarrhea is very foul-smelling and may contain blood. You should contact a veterinarian immediately.
There is a vaccine for this virus.
Make sure that your pup is vaccinated before you take him to where there are other dogs.
